      <description><![CDATA[<p><span><b>Job Summary:&nbsp;</b></span>This positionâ€™s primary function is to accurately deliver products to restaurants, institutional facilities, distributors, markets, and other locations as specified and in a timely manner, while monitoring cold chain policies and procedures.</p> <p><span><b>Essential Duties and Requirements of the Job and % of time spent performing them (listed in order of importance):</b></span></p> <p>75% &nbsp;Delivery of orders to customer stops; unload product &amp; check in orders with customers; obtain delivery signature; and collecting full payment from customers (and marking â€œpaidâ€ on invoices when payments are received); obey traffic laws</p> <p>15% Picking up Product at various locations.</p> <p>5% Following designated maintenance schedule for trucks</p> <p>5% Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.</p> <p>5% Following Collection policies that are designated on invoices</p> <p>5% Setting up orders on Mondays or during holiday weeks or as needed</p> <p><br></p> <p><b><span>Skills Re</span>quired to Perform the Essential Duties of the Job:</b>&nbsp;</p> <p>Clearly notate discrepancies (shortages, mis-picks, or returns) on invoices</p> <p>Proper handling of all monetary receipts, using truck safes</p> <p>Return empty boxes, bread trays, and milk crates</p> <p>Coordinate with supervisor for pick-ups</p> <p>Return to warehouse punctuallyâ€”helping as needed with warehouse functions i.e. cleaning, sweeping, and unloading truck with returned merchandise or boxes and returning to designated locations and notifying supervisor of returns</p> <p>Checking in with receipts and invoices with accounting department</p> <p>Pleasant, friendly, and cooperative with customersâ€”aim for &nbsp;customer satisfaction</p> <p>Must have a cell phone on at all times for business communication purposes only.</p> <p>Neat and clean appearance wearing designated uniforms as indicated by company policies.</p> <p>Other Duties as Assigned</p> <p><br></p> <p><span><b>Educational Requirements Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job:</b></span></p> <p>High School/GED equivalent</p> <p>Excellent reading and math skills.</p> <p><br></p> <p><span><b>Physical, Mental and Psychological Requirements to Perform the Essential Duties of the Job:</b></span></p> <p>Must be able to lift 100lbs of product when delivering product.</p> <p>Must be able to lift product off trucks for delivering to customers.</p> <p>Must be able to go up and down a ramp for deliveries with a 2 Wheel Dolly.</p> <p>Respectfulness to supervisors, co-workers, and customers and vendor drivers.</p> <p><br></p> <p><span><b>Licensing or Other Special Certifications Required:</b></span></p> <p><span>CDL-B - strongly preferred</span></p> <p>Clean Driving Record</p> <p>Department of Transportation Medical (DOT) Card must be valid at all times. &nbsp;Any tickets incurred for an invalid medical card will be the employeeâ€™s responsibility.</p> ]]></description>
